Purpose and scope
- This page introduces Origo as Vaquum's data layer and explains the product boundary in plain terms.
What Origo does
- Acquires source-native market, ETF, Bitcoin, and liquidity data.
- Preserves immutable canonical truth with provenance and replayability.
- Projects canonical truth into native and aligned query surfaces.
- Exposes proof and observability surfaces so users and operators can see what is available and what is blocked.
Why you would use it
- You want historical financial data access that is deterministic, auditable, and replayable.
- You want both source-native truth and a normalized aligned surface.
- You need provenance, rights metadata, and fail-loud contracts rather than silent best-effort behavior.
What Origo does not do
- It does not make trading decisions.
- It does not execute trades.
- It does not hide historical gaps behind silently optimistic defaults.
